1. About Pocket Quran
Pocket Quran is an independent Quran reading application provided by MT Tech. It is not owned by, operated by, or an official application of Quran Foundation, Quran.com, or QuranReflect. The app uses Quran Foundation APIs and related Quran CDN services under their applicable terms.
2. Permitted use
You may use Pocket Quran for personal reading, listening, learning, and reflection. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its services, bypass technical restrictions, extract or redistribute Quran Foundation API data, or use the app for unlawful, hateful, extremist, misleading, or inappropriate purposes.
3. App Store license
Pocket Quran is licensed, not sold. When you obtain the app through Apple’s App Store, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app. These Terms of Use supplement that agreement. If the two conflict, the Apple Standard EULA controls to the extent of the conflict.
4. Quran content
Quran text, translations, tafsir, recitations, fonts, metadata, and related materials may be provided by Quran Foundation, Quran.com, Quran CDN, translators, reciters, font providers, or other content owners. Their rights and source-specific licenses remain with them. Pocket Quran does not sell or sublicense their content.
We take care to preserve Quran text as received from the content source. If you notice a display, translation, timing, or attribution issue, please contact support promptly.
5. Availability and changes
Internet access may be required. Content providers can change, limit, or discontinue their services, and temporary outages may affect reading, search, fonts, tafsir, or playback. Features may be improved, changed, or removed to maintain quality, security, licensing, or legal compliance.
6. No professional advice
Pocket Quran is a reading and study aid. Translations and tafsir are provided by their respective sources and should not be treated as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. For religious rulings or interpretation, consult a qualified scholar.
7. Disclaimer and limitation
Pocket Quran is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every third-party resource will always be accurate or available. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. By using Pocket Quran, you acknowledge that network requests are made to Quran content and audio providers when required by the feature you choose.
9. Termination
Your permission to use Pocket Quran ends if you materially violate these terms or the applicable App Store license. Provisions concerning content ownership, disclaimers, limitations, privacy, and other terms that by their nature should continue will survive termination.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated, and material changes may also be announced in the app or on this website.
